In order for this to work you must run IE as an admin each time you want to use the connection. Thanks for informing. I used this fix when my office was running Microsoft Server 2000. The protocol is the problem. I also did this and it only works per session and is due to running IE as admin.

I did not reset all IE options since this is something a normal user may not be able to do, but I can have them place the web site in their Starting Remote Desktop Connection with administrative credentials provides the permissions that are necessary to write the needed registry keys.
