When it goes to "configuring desktop" the session acts like it's going to start but closes without opening the desktop. Ive made sure to all selected Users and... I stayed logged in for awhile, logged off, switched to the PC and now IT WORKS on the PC too. It was due to a Microsoft patch which was overwritten by Windows 7 SP1. (Basically the patch which was of higher version was installed before SP1 by Windows Update.)
