I'm going to test different methods of connecting to this server, hopefully I will luck into something. I have migrated the RDP license server to 2008R2 from 2012 with no luck. They sent me the beta version of the Mac RDP client. We have been using terminalworks as a temporary solution, which also prints. I have tried to get what you have said accross but oviously I have not written it completly right.

Once they understood the difference between THEIR devices and HOSPITAL devices (and then applied these updates to THEIR systems) then they began working just fine. I never connected to the server prior to installing the licenses though. SoI had to remove these keys on both servers,and keep RDS powered off while reactivating the licensing server. It's a shame Microsoft didn't fix this yet. A difference with your problem is that we are not working in a domain so we don't have to add computers (Windows or mac). Shame to have to rely on a 3rd Party to such a core service, but it works! Permissions do not seems to be my problem because of 3) above. One thing did work for me: v2.1.2 of the Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection for Mac.
So Awesome. Both servers are identical in 2008 R2 SP1 version with the latest patches & updates as of 9-16-12. This is not download from the TS server therefore it works. his comment is here So I think the bug is in the RDC where it checks to see if it is up to date and not the install process.
Now, RDC does not work, although coRD and iTap do work (although they don't have the same functionality as RDC had - especially with importing documents and printing.) What is Microsoft Please check the server's logs for errors/warnings relating to licensing and post them here. Unfortunately Microsoft wants me to pay to submit a case - I'm sorry I won't.
